Water
Water and sanitation: from drinking-water wells to dry toilets.
Growth fund for IHE Delft alumni
RIAS supports IHE Delft graduates with up to € 3,000 to start a water or environmental project in their home country - together with local partners who know the area.
Why RIAS
Many people still lack access to clean water and sanitation. Their health suffers and prosperity remains out of reach.
Water professionals from all over the world study at IHE Delft - Institute for Water Education. They hold a master’s degree or PhD and have solid work experience. What they often lack is the money to start a project or start-up at home with local partners.
That is why Rotary Club Delft Koningsveld founded the RIAS fund in 2022. Alumni can put their knowledge to work straight away, and small projects can grow into something big.
